Dear Valard Team,
I am pleased to announce the launch of two new AI-powered tools built by our Corporate Communications team: the Valard Branding Skill for Claude chat and the Valard Design System for Claude Design. Both are designed to help you create on-brand Valard materials faster and more consistently.
These are now the official, approved resources for producing on-brand work in Claude. We ask that everyone adopt them going forward and retire any personal or unofficial versions.
Why Branding Matters
Every document we produce is a reflection of Valard. Consistent branding builds credibility with our clients, partners, and communities — and signals the professionalism and attention to detail that sets us apart. These tools make it easier for everyone across the organization to produce materials that meet our brand standards.
Valard Branding Skill
The Branding Skill teaches Claude our brand, so you can create on-brand documents like Word files and memos directly in Claude chat. It is now published organization wide as a Claude plugin.
To install:

Open Claude (claude.ai or your desktop app) and go to Customize → Plugins → Browse

Find Valard Branding Designer, then click the + to install

If you are using other Valard design systems that aren’t the official company skill, disable them: click into the item and toggle the blue button off

Ask for Valard-branded work, and Claude applies our brand standards automatically
Valard Design System
The Design System is a brand preset in Claude Design, Claude’s visual canvas. Use it to build on-brand visual designs like presentations and one-pagers.
To install:

Open Claude Design and select Design System

From the list of available design systems, select Valard Design System, owned by Valard CorpComm.

When selected, this design system automatically applies Valard’s brand standards using a library of approved corporate templates, including presentation decks, one-pagers, project updates, and more.
A Note on AI
We’ve tested these tools extensively, but AI can still produce unexpected results. If something doesn’t look right:
- Refine your prompt and try again — more detail usually helps.
- Manually adjust any issues before sending or publishing.
- Refer to the Valard Style Guide or reach out to Corporate Communications.
We encourage you to put these tools to work. The Valard Branding Skill and Design System are here to help you produce polished, official, and on-brand Ai materials that represent our company well.
