Exciting Leadership Announcement at Valard Construction!
We’re thrilled to announce that Darcy Quinn, will be joining Valard Construction as Senior Director, Indigenous Partnerships.
With over 20 years of experience as an Indigenous Partnership and Infrastructure Development Executive, Darcy will lead and strengthen our engagement with Indigenous communities, support governance frameworks, and align efforts across our organization.
Prior to joining Valard, Darcy was the Senior Director, Business Development and Commercial Planning at Nukik Corporation. In this role, Darcy led the commercial development of one of Canada’s largest transmission infrastructure and nation building projects. He directed project planning activities and led engagement discussions with Indigenous communities across Nunavut and Northern Manitoba as well as key Territorial, Provincial and Federal Government stakeholders.
Before joining Nukik Corporation, Darcy served as Manager of Business and Economic Development at BC Hydro Power Authority. He led commercial strategy to develop new transmission lines and coordinated the implementation of an electrification plan to identify and connect new industrial customers to the grid.
Darcy also served as Director of Business Development for Nexterra Systems Corp. where he coordinated the development of a $150 million renewable energy project.
